GROSS VS NET PAY

Hello Nannies always advertise positions in gross figures.

The days of working in 'net hourly rate' terms are fading and the majority of the nanny industry is now working together to move towards advertising and agreeing salaries in gross figures. Typically, nannies have wanted to know their net pay - which is how much they are taking home at the end of the week or month. However, despite what you may think, this is not in the nanny's benefit.

Hello Nannies always advertise positions in gross figures. Agreeing a gross salary is the way to go and this article from the Nanny Lounge explains it perfectly. Working out your net salary from your gross salary is very easy to do with NannyTax's calculator.
